Night Shift Yard Operator

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Night Shift Yard Operator to safeguard our facility, manage deliveries, and support safe chemical storage. The role involves monitoring the yard around the clock, ensuring security, and maintaining a clean, organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access.
• Patrol the site on foot or in a vehicle, observing and reporting any suspicious activity.
• Greet visitors, issue temporary IDs, and maintain an accurate visitor log.
• Stage deliveries, package products, and perform routine inspections.
• Carry out facility maintenance and general housekeeping tasks.
• Promote and lead safety initiatives in line with company policies.
• Perform any special duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Ability to follow instructions from truck drivers and company personnel.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and variable night‑shift schedules.
• Physical capability to perform duties safely and without difficulty.
• Experience with warehouse operations, including receiving shipments and organizing safe chemical storage.
• Understanding of container labeling and associated product hazards.
