NICU Nurse – Level II Neonatal Intensive Care

About the role

We are seeking a passionate NICU Nurse to join our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. In this full‑time, permanent position you will provide critical care to premature and medically fragile newborns while supporting families during pivotal moments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to premature and medically fragile newborns in a Level II NICU/Special Care Nursery.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform interventions according to neonatal protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, respiratory therapists, and lactation consultants.
• Educate and support families throughout the care process.
• Document care accurately in electronic health records.

Required profile

• Current RN license with eligibility to practice in Texas.
• Experience in neonatal or critical care nursing preferred.
• Strong commitment to compassionate, family‑centered care.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
