New Products Lab Developer (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a New Products Lab Developer to join our Innovation Lab in St. Louis on a temporary basis. In this role you will support the creation of new beverage prototypes, drive process improvements, and collaborate closely with product managers and senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the innovation process for new product ideas.
• Design and produce prototype samples while leading process‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist project managers with various new product development projects.
• Manage sample production and benchtop samples in a fast‑paced environment.
• Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and improve laboratory processes.
• Analyze samples using basic lab instrumentation.
• Maintain sample and ingredient inventories and associated SOPs.
• Handle incoming documentation and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Promote and enforce safe working practices.
• Present project results to senior leaders.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day responsibilities among team members.
• Support long‑term growth and sustainability of the lab.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related discipline.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Technical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership capability and comfort driving change.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
