About the role
The New Grad RN Resident will join the H70 Orthopedic Unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, providing care for adult post‑operative orthopedic patients and occasional overflow from other services. The position works a day/night rotation with weekends and holidays required.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care under the guidance of a success coach and participate in a residency core curriculum.
- Prioritize patient care based on acuity, patient preference, and resource availability, and respond to any identified health risks.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current state RN licensure.
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN experience.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Ability to perform full‑range body motions, lift patients, and work under stressful, irregular hours.
