New Grad RN Resident – Internal Medicine Telemetry

About the role

The New Grad RN Resident position on the H80 Internal Medicine Telemetry unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus provides recent nursing graduates with a structured residency program. You will work in a collaborative acute‑care environment caring for adults with complex medical needs such as heart failure and diabetes.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a residency core curriculum tailored to individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach, prioritising patient acuity, preferences and resource availability.
• Respond to clinical data indicating patient risk and take corrective actions.
• Seek supervision or assistance when unable to perform tasks safely and independently.
• Document all care activities accurately in patients’ medical records.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience.
