About the role

The New Grad RN Resident will join Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus internal medicine team, providing direct nursing care while participating in a residency curriculum tailored to individual learning needs.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Participate in a residency core curriculum and work alongside a success coach.
Prioritize patient care based on acuity, patient preference, and resource availability.
Respond to clinical data indicating patient risk and take corrective action.
Document care accurately in patients’ medical records.

Required profile

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or American Red Cross.
New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross certification.
