New Grad RN Resident – ENT/Plastics & Internal Medicine

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a New Graduate RN Resident to work on the G81 ENT/Plastics & Internal Medicine unit. This 8‑bed ENT/Plastics step‑down unit and 24‑bed internal medicine unit provides care for patients with head and neck cancer, surgical flaps, renal failure and other complex conditions. The position is a night shift (7:00 pm‑7:30 am) residency that combines medicine and critical‑care experience.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a residency core curriculum tailored to individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care under the guidance of a success coach.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity, patient preference and resource availability.
• Identify and act on data indicating patient health risk.
• Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when needed to ensure safe independent practice.
• Document all care accurately in patients’ medical records.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN experience (preferred BSN).
