New Grad RN Resident – ENT/Nephrology/Dermatology

About the role

The New Grad RN Resident position supports patient care on the G81 unit, a combined specialty step‑down and general medical unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. Residents gain hands‑on experience across ENT, nephrology and dermatology while participating in a one‑year accredited Nurse Residency program.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients from admission through discharge, collaborating with a success coach.
• Participate in the residency core curriculum and complete online modules, simulation labs, and hands‑on training.
• Assess patient acuity, prioritize care, and respond to clinical risks promptly.
• Document care accurately in patient medical records.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required by hire or within the first year.
• New graduate or less than one year of acute inpatient RN experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
