New Car Manager – Audi

About the role

The New Car Manager will lead the Audi new‑vehicle sales team at our Pensacola dealership, driving customer retention, profitability, and inventory excellence. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and motivating sales staff while overseeing the full lifecycle of new‑car inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast monthly and annual sales, gross profit, and key expenses.
• Hire, coach, and monitor performance of all new‑vehicle sales employees.
• Prepare and manage the annual operating budget for the new‑vehicle department.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting vehicle sales.
• Set aggressive yet realistic sales goals for each salesperson and provide ongoing support.
• Develop and maintain prospecting, follow‑up, and sales control systems.
• Manage vehicle inventory, conduct market analyses, and determine optimal stock mix.
• Lead daily and weekly sales meetings and enforce product‑knowledge standards.
• Coordinate with the used‑vehicle manager on inventory needs and advertising efforts.
• Oversee appraisal, reconditioning, display, wholesaling, and delivery processes.
• Participate in auto auctions, approve purchase paperwork, and track auction pricing trends.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in automotive sales management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of dealership operations, inventory control, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate staff and interact with customers.
