Neuroscientist – Data Science Partner

About the role

Beacon Biosignals is seeking an experienced neuroscientist/data scientist to act as a scientific partner for Life Science customers. You will work directly with pharmaceutical and biotechnology teams, translating complex EEG and cardiopulmonary data into actionable insights that guide drug development for neurological, psychiatric, and sleep disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead scientific and technical aspects of multiple concurrent clinical and real‑world studies, managing timelines, delegating tasks, and communicating with stakeholders.
• Design and execute statistical and computational analyses on EEG datasets, producing clear visualizations and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to shape analytical approaches, influence product development, and ensure data quality and provenance.
• Contribute to statistical analysis plans, co‑author scientific reports, and develop reusable, documented code for high‑quality analytical results.

Required profile

• Several years of experience applying neuroscience and statistical expertise to answer scientific questions for stakeholders.
• Proven ability to present complex analyses to diverse external audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer‑facing mindset.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, asynchronous hybrid environments and meeting tight deadlines.

What we offer

• Base salary range $135,000–$183,000 per year, plus equity, PTO, and additional benefits.
• Remote‑first work model with optional in‑person collaboration at Boston, New York, or Paris hubs.
