Key responsibilities
- Provide executive-level insight to NAVWAR engineering support and research and develop multi-function small form factor payloads.
- Develop and analyze models of algorithmic concepts for distributed electronic sensing effects, and use EW signal processing algorithms for threat detection and identification.
- Develop systems supporting GPS hardening and RF hardware and software that integrate EW, communications and radar into small payloads.
- Investigate heterogeneous sensing concepts across platforms (manned and unmanned, high-altitude ISR, ALE) and passive sensing approaches.
- Design and implement testing of RF and other hardware parts of software-defined radio frameworks, and reverse engineer existing NAVWAR signal processing solutions.
- Synthesize and allocate system requirements so the architecture is fully defined and compliant with mission needs.
- Support development of RF solutions for airborne mission environments, and perform HWIL testing on systems affected by PNT/GPS denial or deception.
- Review vendor hardware and software, develop simulation algorithms and models, and debug, test and validate capabilities with unit tests and customer scenarios.
- Work with internal and external customers to integrate solutions into a wide range of applications.
Required profile
- Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
- 3-7 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, RF engineering or data science.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in an engineering field (electrical, mechanical, RF) or data science.
- Strong technical foundation and proven track record solving complex engineering problems.
- Desired: Professional Engineer license (PE) and a master's degree.
What we offer
