National Account Manager – Grocery Channel

About the role

As the National Account Manager for the grocery channel, you will own the strategy and execution for key regional grocery partners, primarily Ahold Delhaize and other major retailers. You will drive profitable growth, expand distribution, and build best‑in‑class customer relationships across the 1440 Foods portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement joint business plans with regional grocery retailers to accelerate category leadership.
• Identify and close assortment gaps, improve shelf presence, and secure merchandising support.
• Lead senior‑level customer relationships, using data‑driven insights to shape growth initiatives.
• Own full P&L responsibility, delivering net sales, profitability, ACV, market share, and trade ROI targets.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Sales, Category Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance) and broker partners to ensure flawless execution.
• Represent 1440 Foods at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Required profile

• Proven track record in national or regional account management within the grocery or CPG sector.
• Strong bias for action, accountability, and results‑oriented mindset.
• Experience managing full P&L and delivering annual operating plans.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills at senior executive levels.
• Ability to work independently and influence internal and external partners.
