NA Product Manager for Oxo-C4 Alcohols

About the role

Join BASF’s Petrochemicals team in Houston as the North America Product Manager for Oxo‑C4 Alcohols. You will be the central point for pricing, margin management, and operational planning, working closely with manufacturing, sales, supply chain, and technical service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pricing and margin targets for the Oxo‑C4 Alcohols portfolio.
• Develop and maintain financial and demand forecasts, operational and supply plans, and inventory targets.
• Analyze monthly P&L and cost centers, produce commentary, and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain relationships with co‑producers, handling tolling, swaps, exchanges, sales and purchase activities.
• Identify and capitalize on cross‑regional opportunities and support the Americas marketing and sales team.
• Lead cost‑reduction and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, business or a related field, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in product management, pricing, or related commercial functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work across functions.
