Multilevel Auditor – Senior Internal Audit Role

About the role

The Multilevel Auditor leads integrated financial, operational and information‑systems audits across the organization. Working under limited supervision, you will manage major audit engagements, provide strategic insights to senior leadership, and act as a trusted consultant for internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop audit risk analyses and detailed audit plans for management approval.
• Review audit testing performed by staff to ensure completeness and proper documentation.
• Identify opportunities for computer‑assisted audit techniques and design audit software to improve efficiency.
• Prepare formal audit reports for senior executives and the Audit Committee.
• Conduct interviews and meetings with personnel at all levels to gather evidence and discuss findings.
• Mentor and supervise junior auditors and information‑systems auditors, overseeing daily activities and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with external auditors to avoid duplication of effort and reduce fees.
• Serve as liaison between management and audit teams to communicate issues and track improvement actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems or a related field.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, finance, consulting, or information systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex audit projects.
• Strong oral and written communication, analytical, and project‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including international assignments.

Required skills

• Audit software (design and programming of audit tools).
• Knowledge of financial, operational and information‑systems audit methodologies.
