Multi-Unit Team Leader – Flexible Schedule

About the role

As a Multi-Unit Team Leader at a Block Advisors office, you will oversee three tax offices, guiding associates, delivering excellent client experiences, and meeting growth targets. The role starts with a flexible part‑time schedule in the fall, shifts to full‑time during the busy tax season (January‑April), and returns to a reduced schedule after the season.

Key responsibilities

• Manage staffing, operations, and logistics across multiple offices.
• Partner with the District General Manager to develop and execute office‑level growth plans and client acquisition targets.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding tax office associates.
• Conduct performance reviews and work with the Associate Relations Center to resolve issues.
• Build an engaging team environment through training, coaching, and recognition.
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information.
• Create work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor costs.
• Travel between offices as needed.
• Prepare tax returns when qualified after completing the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
