Multi-Site Maintenance Technician with $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

About the role

Greystar is seeking a proactive Multi‑Site Maintenance Technician to support its Salt Lake City portfolio. The role focuses on maintaining the physical condition of buildings, grounds, and common areas while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. A $1,000 sign‑on bonus is offered for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately to ensure proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and occasional painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever feasible.

Required profile

• Previous experience in building or property maintenance is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently, follow established procedures, and prioritize safety.
• Strong organizational skills for managing work orders, inventory, and documentation.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical and technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices.
• Competence in using hand and power tools safely.
