MRI Technologist – Level III (Part‑Time)

About the role

The University of Miami Health System seeks a Level III MRI Technologist on a part‑time basis to perform complex MRI procedures, supervise imaging studies, and support research initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow for inter‑departmental MRI procedures.
• Perform and supervise diagnostic imaging studies under radiologist direction, including protocol development and research support.
• Monitor charging of MRI procedures and supplies, ensure accurate documentation, and provide on‑call coverage.
• Assist radiologists with contrast administration, IV placement, and interventional MRI procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology/Diagnostic Imaging program.
• Five years of relevant MRI experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR and BLS certification required; ARRT registration in primary modality required.
• State of Florida General Radiographer license preferred.

Required skills

• Operation of MRI scanners and related equipment following safety protocols.
• ARRT certification and knowledge of radiology standards.
• CPR and BLS certification.
