About the role
Jet Direct Mortgage is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join its fast‑paced, goal‑oriented team in Bay Shore, NY. You will manage loan documentation and coordinate with underwriting and external partners.
Key responsibilities
- Review initial loan approvals and gather required borrower documentation.
- Create and submit complete loan packages to the Underwriting department.
- Address and satisfy underwriting conditions promptly.
- Communicate with attorneys, county clerks, and title companies as needed.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience processing residential mortgage loans (FHA, VA, Conventional, Purchase, Refinance).
- Strong knowledge of underwriting policies, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, multitasking, and analytical abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Encompass loan origination system.
