Mobility Rotation Program - Commercial

About the role

Axalta's Mobility Americas Commercial Development Program is designed for recent college graduates who want to start their careers in a global coatings company. Participants rotate through several departments for the first three years of their career, gaining exposure to the business and developing technical skills while solving projects in both engineering and commercial areas. Disciplines include Product Engineering, Technology and Technical Service. Selected candidates may need to relocate and/or travel.

Key responsibilities

• Product Engineering: support program and product strategies, give technical advice to customers on automotive coatings, lead projects delivering new products, and coordinate Technology, Marketing, Sales and Operations.
• Technical Service: guide customers on the use of Axalta coating products, troubleshoot and resolve painting issues, gather data and samples for analysis, and support sales in existing accounts.
• Chemist/Scientist: work in R&D teams on formulations, color science, resin, analytical and weathering, develop high-performance coatings for mobility markets, and lead technical programs for product development and customer support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business or another business-related field with a clear technical interest.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Self-motivated, highly communicative, and aspiring to become a future leader with exposure to many facets of business.
• Integrity, ability to deal with ambiguity, initiative and innovative thinking.
• Work authorization in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
