Mobile Software Engineer (Remote, Freelance)

About the role

DataAnnotation is looking for a Mobile Software Engineer to help create and evaluate coding challenges that train AI models. The position is fully remote, allowing you to set your own schedule and work on projects that align with your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and solve Android‑focused coding problems used for AI training.
• Write clear, high‑quality code snippets and detailed explanations.
• Review AI‑generated code for accuracy, performance, and readability.
• Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI models.

Required profile

• Fluent English (native or bilingual level).
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet assessment requirements.

Required skills

• Kotlin (preferred for Android development).
• Android development.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift.
