Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist - Per Diem In-Home

About the role

IQVIA's In-Home Clinical Solutions team is looking for a Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to deliver in-home diagnostic services. The role travels to patient residences for services such as phlebotomy, EKGs and macular edema screenings, supporting treatment initiation and adherence. It is per diem with flexible hours, no minimum monthly visits, and IQVIA handles scheduling and patient communication.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, label and transport blood specimens according to network policies and regulatory standards
• Follow laboratory safety and handling procedures and deliver specimens to designated labs
• Perform trained screenings such as EKGs and macular edema exams (training provided)
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and monitor clinical supply inventory
• Submit visit paperwork with the clinical coordination team and report adverse events, product complaints or patient inquiries
• Keep accurate mileage and time logs

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings
• At least 1 year of EKG experience preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification preferred; a state license is required in Washington or Louisiana
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and to travel up to 100 miles
• Valid driver's license, drug screening and background check after offer
• Fluent English

• Paid hourly compensation covering appointment and travel time (2-hour minimum paid)

• Potential base pay around $25 per hour, depending on qualifications, location and schedule
