About the role
The Mobile Computer Tomography Technologist provides on‑site CT imaging services using a mobile scanner to support patient care across clinical settings. This position ensures high‑quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the mobile computer tomography (CT) scanner.
- Position patients safely and efficiently to obtain optimal images.
- Apply appropriate CT imaging protocols and adjust parameters as needed.
- Monitor radiation exposure and follow radiation safety procedures.
- Perform routine equipment checks, calibrations, and basic troubleshooting.
- Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to meet imaging needs.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA, and accreditation standards.
Required profile
- Completion of an accredited CT technologist program or equivalent education.
- Current state certification/registration for CT operation.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
