MES Engineer – Manufacturing Execution Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MES Engineer to work directly with customers, delivering Manufacturing Execution System solutions that bridge plant‑floor automation and IT. The role involves hands‑on technical execution in fast‑paced, real‑time process environments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute MES projects, including installation, configuration, and deployment of platforms such as Syncade.
• Develop reports, system interfaces, and integrations with Automation, DCS, SCADA, and ERP systems.
• Configure servers, databases, and data connections to third‑party systems.
• Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues efficiently.
• Implement custom configuration and software components to meet project requirements.
• Perform on‑site customer visits for installation, commissioning, startup, and end‑user training.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely, in‑scope delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with MES technologies and data‑system projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills.
• Willingness to travel for on‑site activities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with MES platforms (e.g., Syncade).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, server setup, and network configuration.
• Knowledge of SQL, VBScript, XML, and XSL.
