Merchandise Supervisor - Tempe Diablo Stadium

About the role

The Merchandise Supervisor works under the direction of the Merchandise Manager to help run retail operations at Angel Stadium in Tempe. The role leads a small team and supports event and game-day retail activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a staff of up to 10 people.
• Support outside functions for Angels events such as Training Camp, Fan Fest and Family Day.
• Help with reporting, nightly business and other reports, and identify problems and concerns.
• Maximize employee and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with check-in/check-out procedures and maintain proper inventory levels.
• Train others on producing customized jerseys and prepare retail locations for events and game day.
• Work with visual displays and merchandising of stands to attract customers.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Flexible to work all Angel Stadium events, including late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to work long periods standing, walking and lifting, and to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds.

Required skills

• Comfortable with Microsoft Office.
• Fluent English; bilingualism is a plus.
• Customer service orientation, multitasking in a fast-paced team and independent work, and strong oral and written communication.
