Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which partners with Lyra Health, a provider of evidence-based mental health care, is looking for an independently licensed clinical therapist to join its provider network as a 1099 contractor. The network includes in-person and virtual therapists, physicians and coaches across the US, and offers matching technology, a supportive platform and training and clinical consultation.

The opportunity suits clinicians who want to provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, adults, couples and/or families, with well-matched clients, administrative and marketing support and easy invoicing with quick payments. Working with clients in person through a private or group practice is strongly preferred.

Required profile

• Master's or doctoral degree from a clinical track (e.g. MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD)
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD or equivalent license, able to work independently without supervision, with no current, past or pending disciplinary action
• Experience and commitment to evidence-based treatments (e.g. ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT) and clinical best practices such as measurement-based care and skills practice
• Ability to provide care to children, adults, couples and/or families in Trenton, NJ
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises as needed
• Full-time resident of the United States
