2nd Shift Home Health Aide (High Tech)

About the role

AdvisaCare is hiring part-time home health aides for the second shift in Trenton, working 4 to 10 hours per week. Each aide provides hands-on care to one client, with the option to accompany them to the doctor's office or hospital. The work is described as less crowded and more connected than typical hospital settings.

Key responsibilities

• Accompany patients to the doctor's office or hospital
• Administer simple prescribed medications
• Assist with clients' personal care activities
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Required profile

• High school graduate or GED
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to work in a team while being responsible and independent
• Good communication skills
• Ability to travel within the service area
• Ability to pass a drug screen and clear background check
