Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which partners with Lyra Health, a provider of evidence-based mental health care, is looking for an independently licensed clinical therapist to join its provider network as a 1099 contractor. The network includes in-person and virtual therapists, physicians and coaches across the US, matched with clients through Lyra's technology and supported by training and clinical consultation.

The opportunity suits clinicians who want to provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, adults, couples and/or families, with administrative and marketing support and easy invoicing with quick payments. Working with clients in person through a private or group practice is strongly preferred.

Required profile

• Master's or doctoral degree from a clinical track (e.g. MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD)
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD or equivalent license, able to work independently without supervision, with no current, past or pending disciplinary action
• Experience and commitment to evidence-based treatments (e.g. ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT) and clinical best practices such as measurement-based care
• Ability to provide care to children, adults, couples and/or families, with a strong preference for in-person care
• Own office space in the Minnesota area where clients can be seen
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises as needed
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
