Membership Sales Advisor - Van Mission Club

About the role

Equinox is hiring Membership Sales Advisors for its new club opening on Van Mission in San Francisco, California. Advisors sell club memberships and ancillary services under the management of a General Manager, with the support of a Regional Sales Manager and a sales team of 3-4 people. They must know and use all the club's services, programs and products and stay up to date on competitor trends.

Key responsibilities

• Sell club memberships, prospect new business and clients, and host events and workshops for in-club lead generation
• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, renewal membership goals and ancillary service goals
• Plan each month strategically, including outreach and securing member referrals
• Build lasting relationships with prospective and current members to grow referrals and retain members
• Stay informed on competitor facilities and sales trends

Required profile

• Previous sales experience preferred
• Entrepreneurial spirit and confidence to work on an incentive-based salary
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for health and fitness and enjoyment of teamwork
• Strong time management and willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Legal right to work in the United States

What we offer

• Base salary of $19.61 per hour, with variable bonus and commission plans that can reach $80,000-$100,000 for sales targets
