MedTech Clinical Educator - Pediatric Neonatal PICC

About the role

iQVIA's MedTech RN Clinical Educator provides continuing education on neonatal PICC insertion, management and best practices for a client's Neonatal PICC portfolio. The role is education and in-servicing only, with no sales responsibilities and no bedside care. It is a per-diem position with local, regional and national travel, and the minimum availability is one week per month.

Key responsibilities

• Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians and hospital staff on pediatric neonatal PICC placement and access
• Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience
• Use clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns about the medical device
• Give updates, reports and feedback to clients during and after in-service assignments

Required profile

• Nurse Practitioner license, active and unrestricted
• 3-5 years of direct pediatric neonatal PICC placement experience
• Comfortable with basic software programs
• Willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationally
• Able to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements and hold up-to-date immunizations
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available
