Medical Technologist – Automated Chemistry

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus where research, advanced surgery and leading‑edge technology converge. In this position you will perform and interpret laboratory tests of all complexity levels, supporting the search for optimal patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, analysis, reporting and record keeping.
• Maintain regulatory knowledge, quality control documentation, instrument calibrations and maintenance.
• Perform proficiency testing in compliance with CLIA regulations and document results accurately.
• Identify and resolve problems affecting test performance or report quality, notifying supervisors as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field or meet CLIA high‑complexity testing qualifications.
• One or more licenses in Microbiology, Immunohematology or related areas.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT, MLT or MLS) or eligibility through ASCP.
• At least one year of clinical Microbiology experience preferred.
