Medical R&D Project Manager - Science Table

About the role

Anatomage, a health care technology company founded in 2004, is seeking an R&D Manager for its Science Table Division to drive growth in the EdTech sector. The role is on-site and reports to headquarters in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate understands the EdTech landscape, has a proven track record in business management and is passionate about advancing education through technology.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the product roadmap for the Science Table by researching STEM educational marketing, customers and value proposition.
• Propose and evaluate science simulation designs across biology, chemistry and physics with subject matter experts and software engineers, giving an end-user perspective and learning-standard mapping at early design stages.
• Work with teachers on early product adoption, gather customer testimonials for marketing, and attend educational trade shows to demonstrate the product and run workshops.
• Keep Science Table experiments mapped to national and state educational standards for sales, marketing and end users.
• Act as the internal point of contact for development, customer support, marketing and sales teams.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales on messaging, use cases and customer communication.
• Work with subject matter experts to write end-user documentation such as teacher guides.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business or science-related field; MBA preferred but not required.
• 5-7 years of managerial experience; EdTech experience preferred.
• Proven success in a managerial role, strong decision-making, communication, collaboration and delegation skills.
• Ability to develop and achieve financial plans, and to recruit, motivate and hold employees accountable.
• Strong working knowledge of operational procedures.
