About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare organization in Colorado Springs. You will play a crucial part in revenue cycle management by accurately processing medical claims, managing patient accounts, and ensuring timely reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

• Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies with precision.
• Review patient accounts and verify insurance coverage prior to service delivery.
• Analyze claim denials, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely payment.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient billing information in medical billing software.
• Apply appropriate ICD-10 and CPT coding for claim submission.
• Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries and payment options.
• Reconcile patient accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Generate billing reports and provide data analysis for revenue cycle improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical billing and claims processing (2+ years preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy standards.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with medical billing software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance.
