About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic Health System team as a Medical Assistant at the Westlake Medical Office Building, providing patient‑first care in an ambulatory internal‑medicine setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with screenings, treatments, specimen collection, testing and documentation of patient care.
  • Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
  • Maintain equipment, medical supplies and examination areas.
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.

Required profile

  • Graduate of an approved medical assisting program or equivalent military medical training (Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic, Medical Service Technician).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain during new‑hire period).
  • Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience.
  • Preferred: Medical Assisting certification and successful completion of a Cleveland Clinic externship.
