About the role
The Medical Assistant will support the Vascular Medicine team at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, providing direct patient care, clinical assistance, and administrative support in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with screenings, treatments, specimen collection, and documentation of patient care.
- Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team.
- Maintain equipment, medical supplies, and examination areas.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
Required profile
- Graduate of an approved medical assisting program or equivalent military medical training.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain during new‑hire period).
- Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Medical Assisting certification (preferred).
