About the role

The Medical Assistant will support the Otolaryngology ambulatory operations at Beachwood Family Health and Surgery Center, providing compassionate care to patients and assisting the clinical team.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with screenings, treatments, specimen collection, and documentation of patient care.
  • Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
  • Maintain equipment, medical supplies, and examination areas.
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Required profile

  • Graduate from an approved medical assisting program or equivalent military medical training.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain during new‑hire period).
  • Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience.
