About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Breast Care Center is adding a new surgeon and needs a Medical Assistant to support the Breast Surgery team. You will work 8:00 am‑4:30 pm, Monday‑Friday, providing clinical and administrative support in a compassionate, patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

Room patients, prepare charts, collect specimens, perform basic tests, and document care.
Monitor patient condition, communicate changes, and maintain equipment and exam rooms.
Perform clerical duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Required profile

Graduate of an approved Medical Assisting program or equivalent military medical training.
Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross) upon hire.

Required skills

Medical assisting techniques and clinical proficiency.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
