Mechanical & Plumbing Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this position you will design, develop, and document mechanical and plumbing systems for residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects, working closely with architects, interior designers, and engineering consultants to ensure seamless integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and draft forced‑air heating, cooling, ventilation, radiant heating and cooling, domestic water supply and drainage, snow melt, gas and fuel supply, and geothermal systems.
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering consultants to integrate mechanical and plumbing systems with overall building design.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for building construction.
• Strong understanding of building codes and standards such as ASHRAE and IBC.
• Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems and sustainable design practices.

Required skills

• Carrier HAP software.
• LoopCAD software.
• Load calculations and energy modeling.
• System sizing.
• Revit (optional).
