About the role

You will develop next‑generation sensing, processing and actuation technologies in a fast‑paced environment. As a senior member of a small team you will own the design, analysis, fabrication and validation of complex mechanical systems from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

Design and analyze mechanical systems using CAD (SolidWorks) and simulation tools, preparing production documentation and overseeing part fabrication.
Lead prototype build, system assembly, validation testing, failure analysis and mentor less‑experienced engineers.

Required profile

Bachelor’s (or Master’s) in Mechanical Engineering with 7‑10+ years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship with active Secret‑level security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Required skills

SolidWorks CAD and SolidWorks Simulation (FEA) proficiency.
Experience with hand tools, mills, lathes, welders, and basic shop equipment.
Knowledge of MIL‑STDs, GD&T, and qualification testing.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Excel and standard Microsoft Office applications.
