Math Instructor (Non‑Tenure Track)

About the role

Tarleton State University seeks a dedicated Instructor of Math for its Department of Mathematics. This 9‑month, non‑tenure‑track position will support undergraduate teaching on the main campus in Stephenville, Texas, and may include online or multi‑campus instruction as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate mathematics courses in accordance with the university’s curriculum.
• Develop course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Participate in departmental meetings, faculty governance, and campus service activities.
• Serve as a Campus Security Authority under the Clery Act.
• Maintain office hours and provide academic advising to students.

Required profile

• Earned graduate degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate level.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and student success.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without university‑sponsored visa.
