Math Instructor (Marietta Campus)

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a qualified Math Instructor to join the faculty at the Marietta Campus of Chattahoochee Technical College. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Mathematics, you will deliver undergraduate mathematics courses and support student success across multiple campuses as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments for academic math courses.
• Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
• Participate in faculty meetings, staff development, workshops, and conferences.
• Offer academic advising, tutoring, and support services to students.
• Serve on college committees and contribute to recruitment, retention, and job placement initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in mathematics from a regionally accredited institution with at least 18 graduate semester hours in mathematics.
• Minimum one year of full‑time paid teaching experience.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for instructional technology and record‑keeping.
