About the role

The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, seeks a part‑time adjunct instructor to teach Computer Information Systems (Networking) courses at the Marietta and North Metro campuses, as well as online.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver instruction for CIS networking courses in day, evening, and online formats.
  • Provide virtual office hours and student advisement.
  • Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with program outcomes.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred Master’s degree in CIS, IT or CS.
  • Ability to undergo background checks and credential verification.

Required skills

  • Networking fundamentals.
  • Programming knowledge (preferred).
  • Experience with Blackboard or other Learning Management Systems.
  • Nationally recognized IT certifications (preferred).

What we offer

  • Pay per course ranging from $2,000 to $2,600, dependent on course level and workload.
  • Part‑time, per‑semester appointment with no state benefits.
