Adjunct Instructor – Introduction to Computers

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, seeks a part‑time Adjunct Instructor to teach the Introduction to Computers course at Osborne High School in Marietta. Classes run Monday‑Friday and the role is supervised by the Associate Dean of Business Sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily instruction for the Introduction to Computers course, covering fundamental concepts and operations.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assess student performance.
• Provide guidance and support to students, ensuring they develop basic computer proficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computers, Business Education, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Business Management or CIS preferred.
• Experience with online instruction in a post‑secondary setting, including use of Blackboard or similar LMS.

Required skills

• MS Office Specialist certification.
• Proficiency with Blackboard or other online learning management systems.
• Experience in computer‑assisted instruction and instructional technology.

What we offer

• $2,000 payment per course per semester (paid by direct deposit).
• No state benefits are provided for this adjunct position.
