Materials Management Clerk 2 (Full-Time)

About the role

The Materials Management Clerk 2 supports the University of Miami Hospital & Clinics logistics team by ensuring timely receipt, accurate inventory control, and proper distribution of medical supplies across operating rooms and surgical units.

Key responsibilities

• Check expiration dates and rotate inventory to maintain product integrity.
• Assist with unloading, unpacking, and labeling incoming supplies.
• Notify management of overstocking, discrepancies, or other inventory issues.
• Fill tickets and requisitions, deliver supplies to designated locations, and ensure charges are applied on delivery day.
• Maintain accurate receiving and order paperwork in accordance with university policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least three years of relevant materials management experience.
• Demonstrated learning agility, teamwork, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow university and unit‑level policies to safeguard assets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software and inventory management applications.
• Technical ability to print and apply labels to inventory packages.
