Materials Management Clerk 2 (Full-Time)

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Supply Chain department is seeking a full‑time Materials Management Clerk 2 to support material flow in Deerfield Beach, FL. The clerk will coordinate the transfer, receipt, inspection, and storage of raw materials, parts, and finished products while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products across facilities.
• Ensure supplies are purchased, received, inspected, stored, and delivered on time.
• Maintain order‑related documentation, approve critical supply logs, and track inventory.
• Review product usage, negotiate pricing, and place orders.
• Resolve inventory and supply issues with other departments, manage shipments, and handle credit holds.
• Check expiration dates, rotate stock, and assist with unloading and unpacking.
• Notify management of overstocking, discrepancies, and other issues.
• Fill tickets and requisitions, deliver supplies, and ensure proper charging.
• Print and apply labels, preserve receiving and ordering paperwork.
• Make scheduled and emergent deliveries throughout the organization.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in materials or inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Commitment to university core values and general office procedure knowledge.
