Material Handling Technician – Technician 2

About the role

As a Material Handling Technician (Technician 2) you will keep our customers’ operations running safely and efficiently. Working both in the field and in the shop, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of diesel, gas, propane, and electric‑powered material handling equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, brake, steering, and drive systems on material handling equipment.
• Perform major component rebuilds, preventative maintenance, inspections, and operational testing to manufacturer standards.
• Complete accurate service documentation, manage parts inventory, and keep company vehicles and tools organized and ready for jobs.
• Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in ongoing technical training.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience repairing heavy or material handling equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and fix complex equipment systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; dependable, team‑oriented mindset.
• Valid driver’s license; welding/fabrication experience and technical certifications are a plus.
