About the role

Hambleton Handyman, a home improvement and remodeling company founded in 2014, is looking for an experienced Master Craftsman to join its growing team. The role suits someone with extensive residential construction experience who wants steady, year-round work without the stress of running their own business or managing projects. The position is full-time, 40 to 44 hours a week.

Required profile

• At least 15 years of experience in residential construction.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Own set of tools, including extension ladders.
• Delivers high-quality, long-lasting work and takes pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Communicates professionally and clearly with clients and team members, works independently and collaborates with the team.

Required skills

• Carpentry: trim work, door installation, wood rot repair, identifying load-bearing walls.
• Drywall repair and finishing.
• Interior and exterior painting.
• Deck replacement from footers to final finishes, following local building codes.
• Bathroom remodels from start to finish.
• Electrical: installing and wiring a three-way switch.
• Plumbing: sweating copper pipes and installing drain lines.
