Massage Therapist

About the role

Midtown is looking for a Massage Therapist to help its spa team deliver luxurious spa experiences to members and guests. Massage therapists are described as knowledgeable, caring professionals who stay up to date with the latest massage trends and techniques and help demonstrate the benefits of massage to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Address member and guest needs in a professional, positive and timely way
• Set up the workstation, treatment room, lighting and sound, and check in with guests about their comfort during the service
• Maintain cleanliness of spa areas throughout the shift, dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies at the end of the shift
• Partner with and assist other associates in promoting spa services and achieving department goals
• Perform treatments while keeping the treatment room clean and sanitary
• Promote spa and salon services and sell retail products

Required profile

• At least one year of experience and a current state license
• Certification from a credible massage therapy school
• Previous customer service experience preferred

What we offer

• Pay of 50% commission
• Administrative and training time paid at $16.50 per hour
