Marketing Trade Show Manager

About the role

As Trade Show Manager, you will turn show floors into revenue-generating events by blending big-picture strategy with hands-on execution. Working closely with Sales and Marketing leadership, you translate business goals into experiences that build pipeline, lead and mentor direct reports, manage budgets and prove major ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Own the multi-year trade show strategy, partnering with Marketing leads and business segments to define where and how to show up
• Create pre-, during- and post-event playbooks that secure VIP meetings and ensure smooth lead handoffs
• Work with creative, production and logistics teams to deliver events on time and on budget
• Identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities for co-branded experiences on the show floor and at company sites
• Analyze event data, ROI and attendee feedback to improve future strategies and share performance updates with executives
• Mentor and coach the team, delegate day-to-day operations and manage relationships with exhibit agencies, general contractors and sponsors
• Own the global trade show budget, forecast and allocate spend, and build lead attribution models tracking cost-per-lead, pipeline generated and closed-won revenue

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive B2B trade show, field marketing or trade show marketing experience with a proven impact on sales pipelines
• Experience managing, mentoring or leading team members and managing agency relationships
• Direct experience working with B2B Sales leadership to achieve revenue goals
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM and lead management tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot
• Financial reporting
