Marketing Manager - San Francisco

About the role

Bespoke Careers is hiring a Marketing Manager in San Francisco to join a multidisciplinary team. The role leads proposal and pursuit efforts, supports business development and helps raise visibility across the Bay Area and the West Coast. You will work closely with leadership and project teams to build winning pursuit strategies, create compelling marketing content and strengthen client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate proposal, pursuit and interview efforts from kickoff through submission.
• Partner with leadership and project teams on business development, client engagement and strategic positioning.
• Develop and refine marketing materials, project narratives, presentations, awards submissions and thought leadership content.
• Maintain and organize marketing assets such as project information, resumes, CRM records and proposal content.
• Track industry trends, conferences, networking opportunities and market intelligence.
• Work across teams to keep branding, messaging and marketing best practices consistent.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, Design or a related field preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in marketing, business development, proposals or communications, ideally in the AEC or professional services industry.
• Strong proposal management, writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Excellent organization, project management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with leaders, project teams and external partners.
• Knowledge of California markets, public-sector pursuits or design-related industries preferred.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign
• CRM and marketing database platforms (a plus)
