About the role

Radical Numerics is seeking a Marketing Associate to build and scale its marketing function. As the first dedicated marketing hire, you will own the execution of marketing and communications initiatives, translating complex technical work into clear, compelling stories for various audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution of major marketing projects such as website design and company videos.
• Source, brief, and manage specialized vendors and freelancers for design, video production, and development work.
• Coordinate with production vendors, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
• Partner with technical teams to shape research‑adjacent content for audiences and oversee its production and publication.
• Own Radical Numerics' social and web presence, ensuring a consistent voice.
• Plan and execute presence at scientific conferences, industry events, and government forums, handling logistics, messaging, and post‑event follow‑up.
• Utilize modern marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools to streamline workflows and measure performance.
• Build and improve scalable marketing operations processes for efficient campaign execution and data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• Comfortable sourcing, briefing, and managing external vendors and freelancers.
• Strong project‑management instincts with ability to keep multiple moving pieces on track.
• Ability to work alongside technical and scientific teams, shaping content without being the primary writer.
• Scrappy, startup‑paced mindset with high ownership, low ego, and a bias toward action in ambiguous environments.
• Genuine curiosity about biological AI, biosecurity, or life sciences.
• 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role, ideally at a startup or fast‑moving company.
